Matthew Brown

           Matthew Brown is a singer, songwriter, producer, engineer, voice instructor, piano instructor, guitar instructor, as well as the current Director for New Hope Performing Arts. He has been seen all over the island in various musicals from In to the Woods, to Gospel. Matthews latest project was working with Peter Hernandez (Papa Mars) on a new show in Waikiki, another recent project has been helping produce. write and engineer New Hope Oahu's Latest Album, "Scripture Song Project" 2019 Dream Records. 

Meleana Brown

             Multi-talented Meleana Brown performs Gospel, Hawaiian, Classical Opera, Ballads, Pop and R&B nationally & internationally. In 2010 Meleana was the opening act for Grammy-winning Bruno Mars in Honolulu. Meleana Brown was born and raised in Hawaii, part Filipino, Hawaiian, African-American and Portuguese.

Meleana comes from a talented family. Her cousin is Nicole Scherzinger, former lead singer of the Pussy Cat Dolls, judge on Fox's new hit show titled, The Masked Singer, Lead in Disney's MOANA and her sister is Christina Brown of the hit reality show High School Musical: Get In the Picture on ABC and also has a hit song on Billboard charts. Meleana performed alongside Celine Dion’s renowned violinist, Roddy Chung, at a benefit concert in LA. In 2012. She finished her degree at the Musicians Institute in LA. 

Meleana has sang alongside nine-time grammy winner John Legend, on ABC's hit TV show titled DUETS.  She went on to travel all over the world singing as the featured vocalist on the high seas for the luxury cruise liner Holland America. A TV show called Hawaii Stars was Meleana’s first TV appearance. She was the tiny teen with the big voice. Back in 2003, Meleana was one of the top 12 finalists on the popular TV show, American Idol, in a season that featured Grammy & Academy Award-winning Jennifer Hudson, and Season Three winner, Fantasia.

After 10 years of singing on the Navatek, a dinner cruise in Waikiki, Hollywood was calling Meleana. So, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her music career. “Music has the power to lift hearts and inspire” says Meleana. New Hope Church, on the island of Oahu, is where Meleana started singing with other members of her family. Meleana was homeschooled along with her two sisters and three brothers. She lived in Japan with her family and put together a Hawaiian show and performed at many venues around Japan. Years later Meleana performed at Tokyo’s Zepp Theater in Odaiba, where she was booked as a “Hawaiian Gospel” act. She brought the house down.

In 2016 Meleana signed with Dream records where she also worked with her brother and  released her self written album entitled White Walls. Meleana is a singer song writer and is hopeful to changing and inspiring lives one song at a time. Meleana has worked with people such as Nicole Scherzinger, Bruno Mars, Fido Carlos(Guitarist- JLO, Alesia Cara, Ricky Martin), Kat Dahlia, Neyo and many others. 

Because of all of her perfessional and personal experience in the music industry Meleana is a master at perfecting stage presence, mic technic, vocal technic, as well as helping people create beautiful blended harmonies, she is one of the best vocal teachers/ vocal coaches I've ever known.
